Sunday School at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church
At Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, we believe that nurturing the faith of our children and youth is at the heart of building a strong Orthodox community. Our Sunday School program provides a warm and engaging environment where young people learn about God, the Church, and how to live their faith in everyday life.
Classes Offered
-
Middle School & High School (Ages 12–18)
Led by Craig Seaver
This year’s theme is “From the Nativity of the Theotokos to the Nativity of Christ.” Together, our teens will explore the feasts, Scripture, and traditions that reveal Christ’s presence and work in the Church, building a deeper understanding of the liturgical cycle and how it shapes their spiritual lives. -
Primary (Ages 5–12 and up)
Led by Ann Grimm and Helen Knapp
This year’s theme is “A Journey Through the Divine Liturgy.” Children will walk step by step through the Liturgy, discovering its prayers, symbols, and meaning in a way that is age-appropriate, interactive, and rooted in the life of the Church.
Registration & Support
We encourage all parents to register their children using the form below so that we can plan and prepare materials for each class.
There is no registration fee, as we never want cost to be a barrier for families. However, if you would like to support this vital ministry, you may make a donation designated for Sunday School materials. Your generosity helps provide books, crafts, and resources that enrich the children’s learning experience.
